How to center a multiline caption for a floating object

Version: 3.x, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

If your document contains floating graphics and tables, you can use the caption package to center the multiline caption or title (LaTeX automatically centers single-line captions and titles):

  1. Add the caption package to your document.
  2. On the Typeset toolbar, click the Options and Packages button Options and Packages button or, from the Typeset menu, choose Options and Packages.
  3. Choose the Package Options tab.
  4. In the Packages in Use box, select caption and then choose Modify.
  5. In the Category box, choose Caption justification.
  6. In the Options box, choose Center all.
  7. Choose OK twice to return to your document.
