No items available on the Compute menu

Versions: 3.5, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Notebook

Problem

When you open the Compute menu, none of the items are active.

Explanation

No computation engine is currently selected.

Solution

Select an engine:

1. From the Tools menu, choose Computation Setup and select the Engine Selection tab.

2. Select an engine from the Current Engine box.

   We recommend you select the MuPAD engine.

3. Choose OK.
