Version: 2.5, 3.x, & 4.x - Scientific WorkPlace, Scientific Word, &
Scientific Notebook
These instructions explain how to generate a PostScript file from your
document:
-
Make sure a PostScript printer or print driver is installed on your
computer. You don't have to have a PostScript printer physically attached to
your computer. See your Windows documentation for more information.
-
Open your SWP, SW, or SNB document.
-
From the Typeset menu in SWP or SW, choose
Preview, or from the File
menu in SWP, SW, or SNB, choose Preview.
-
From the File menu in the Previewer, choose
Print.
-
From the Print dialog box, select the PostScript printer.
-
Check Print to file.
-
Choose OK.
-
Enter a name for the file you are about to create.
You can create a PostScript file on a floppy disk easily by specifying the
disk drive, e.g. A:\anywhere\myfile.ps
-
Choose OK.
