Theorem fonts

Version: 2.5 - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

Q. I'm trying to modify the font sizes used in the Style Editor Thesis Style #1. The default font is normalsize, which shows as 10 pt. In the Style Editor, I changed "everything" to large, which shows as 12 pt. However, the theorem heading still previews in 10 pt. How can I change the font to large?

A. You can change this by modifying your Style Editor style with an ASCII editor. The style file, which has an *.sty extension, can be found in the tex\macros\styledit subdirectory. Look for the string

\Name{TheoremHeadingFont}

The lines that follow this string define the various aspects of the font, including the size. Change the line that reads

\Size{normalsize}

to

\Size{large}

and your theorem heading will be typeset as a larger font.
