Error: WININET.DLL or OLEAUT32.DLL not found

Version: 3.x - Scientific Notebook

Problem

When you attempt to run Scientific Notebook, you receive an error stating that WININET.DLL or OLEAUT32.DLL was not found.

Solution

Install Internet support according to these instructions:

1. Find the file AXDIST.EXE in the Microsoft directory on your Scientific Notebook CD, or download the file (about 800K) from our ftp server.

2. Run the file AXDIST.EXE.
