For almost a year, we have been providing the MuPAD 2.0 "kernel" as one of the two available algebra engines in Scientific WorkPlace and Scientific Notebook. Duxbury Systems leads the world in software for braille with its Duxbury Braille Translator (DBT). Fully compatible with Scientific Notebook, the two products used together provide a complete solution for creating and publishing mathematical documents in braille.
Lightstone International, the MacKichan distributor in Japan, is now shipping a Japanese version of Scientific WorkPlace 3.5 and Scientific Word 3.5. It is fully localized (programs and manuals) and uses a Japanese version of LaTeX, called pLaTeX, to typeset documents.
Origin is an easy-to-use scientific graphing and data analysis software program that complements Scientific WorkPlace very well. Origin plots can be inserted into Scientific WorkPlace using a variety of graphics formats, and mathematical expressions in Scientific WorkPlace can be copied as graphics and used as labels on Origin plots.
