How to change typeset page numbers

Version: 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

Although page numbers are produced automatically by the typesetting style for your document, page numbering sometimes requires subtle changes. You may need to set an arbitrary page number at some point in your document.

1. Place the insertion point where you want the page number to be reset.

2. Enter an encapsulated TeX field.

3. In the entry area, type \setcounter{page}{x} where x is the number at which you want page numbering to begin at this point.

4. Choose OK.
