The program changes the toolbar arrangement

Version: 3.0, 3.5, 3.51, & 4.0 - Scientific WorkPlace, Scientific Word, & Scientific Notebook

Problem

When you open the program in a maximized window, the program rearranges the toolbars to fit a non-maximized window.

Explanation

When the program starts, it first opens a non-maximized window, arranges the toolbars, decides that the current window is not large enough for the desired toolbar arrangement, rearranges the toolbars to fit, and then switches to the maximized window. The result is that the toolbars are positioned for the non-maximized window.

Solution

Change your window to the non-maximized size and then make the window large enough that the toolbars fit where you want them. Position the toolbars as you want. Close the program so the larger non-maximized window size is retained. Start the program and maximize the window. Close the program again. The next time you open the program, it won't rearrange the toolbars.
