The LaTeX dinbrief class
Version: 3.5x, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific
Word
The dinbrief class implements a document layout for writing letters according
to the rules of DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung), the German
standardization institute. The class is Included in the distribution for
Versions 4.1 and later; if you have an earlier version, the dinbrief class is
available from the Comprehensive TeX Archive
(CTAN) in the directory
macros/latex/contrib/dinbrief/.
These instructions explain how to add a new shell document to SWP or SW along
with the necessary SWP or SW support files and typesetting specification files
for the dinbrief class.
-
From the MacKichan Software ftp site, download the file
DIN
Brief.shl and save it to a convenient subdirectory in the Shells directory
of your SWP or SW installation. You can create a new subdirectory or place the
file in any one of the existing subdirectories.
-
Add the support files for the new shell:
-
In the existing Styles directory of your SWP or SW installation, create a new
directory called dinbrief.
-
From our ftp site, download the files
dinbrief.cst
and
dinbrief2.cst
and save them into the new directory.
-
Add the typesetting specification files for the dinbrief class:
-
In the existing TCITeX/TeX/LaTeX/contrib directory of your SWP or SW
installation, create a new directory called
dinbrief.
-
From our ftp site, download the files
dinbrief.cfg,
dinbrief.cls,
and
dinbrief.sty
and save them into the new directory.
-
In SWP or SW, choose File, then choose
New, and select
DIN Brief from the shell directory into which you saved the .shl file in step
1.
-
From the Typeset menu, choose
Preview to see a typeset view of the shell
document.
