Items missing from the Compute menu

Versions: 3.5, 4.x, 5.x - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Notebook

Problem

Items are missing from the Compute menu. Specificially, Solve ODE, Transforms, Vector Calculus, Simplex, as well as animated plots and items from the Solve, Polynomials, and Matrices submenus, do not appear.

Explanation

The software has been set to display the simplified Compute menu.

Solution

Display all the commands on the Compute menu:

1. From the Tools menu, choose Engine Setup and select the General tab.

2. Uncheck the box labelled Display Simplified Compute Menu.

3. Choose OK.
