How to use bold and italics together in mathematics

Version: 2.5 - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

Here's how to have mathematics appear both in bold and italics:

1. Place the insertion point where you want the bold, italicized mathematics to begin.

2. From the Insert menu, choose Field and then TeX .

3. In the TeX Field dialog box, type \mbox{\boldmath $ xxx $} where xxx is the mathematics you want in bold and italics.

4. Choose OK.
