How to print on a printer attached to a different PC

Scientific Word
First print your SW document to a file using the print driver for the
destination printer, then transfer the file to the other PC and print.

Print your document to a file.

Make sure the print driver you need is installed on your PC. See your
Windows documentation for instructions.

Preview your SW document.

From the File menu in the Previewer, choose
Print.

From the Print dialog box, choose the printer
that matches the one on which you want to print the document.

Check Print to file.

Choose OK.

Enter a name for the file you are about to create. You can create a file on a
disk easily by specifying the disk drive.

Choose OK.

Transfer the file to the other PC and print your document.

If you didn't create the file on a floppy disk, copy it to a disk.

Insert the disk in the PC attached to the printer you want to use.

From a DOS prompt, type copy a:\xyz\myfile.* LPT1
where a:\xyz\myfile.* is the file name and
LPT1 is the printer port.
