Scaling graphics

Version: 2.5 - Scientific WorkPlace & Scientific Word

Q. How are images from other Windows applications transferred into SW? Are graphic images scalable? Can I define the resolution of the graphic when I print it?

A. If you copy an image to the clipboard from another Windows application, the format of the transferred graphic depends upon the format in which it was placed on the clipboard. The image should be scalable in SW. If you capture a screen image with Print Screen, then paste it into SW, the image will be a bitmapped (.bmp) image.

The printed graphic will reflect the video resolution currently set for your monitor. If you change your video resolution, the resolution of the printed graphic will change.
